I thought it was nearly summer!
Just been outside (8.30pm) and it's freezing! There's a gale force wind blowing and it's not warm!

Bought new Kodak printer - what a load of rubbish!
Yesterday we bought a new Kodak printer, the wireless one, the ESP7. What a complete load of rubbish!
On Tuesday it is going back to the shop for a full refund.
It didn't install properly, then it wouldn't scan, it did seem to copy ok, but when we printed out some photos - well - the quality was abysmal, and seeing as we are photographers and need the photos to be top quality, it just wasn't good enough. Even then, we only did 4" x 6", goodness knows how bad A4 would have come out.
We spent 50 minutes at online help with someone in India who was juggling multiple helps and actually told us to disconnect chat! When we queried this s/he said "sorry, that was a mistake, I am doing multiple helps, I should have said disconnect the printer"!!!! All s/he eventually told us to do was try a different USB port (the original one was working perfectly) or reinstall the software.
We uninstalled it this morning before reinstalling, but it only uninstalls the actual printer, none of the other stuff, which you can't get rid of. We tried to reinstall the software but it wouldn't have it.
Have now put our original Canon printer back on and the Kodak is going back to PC World for a full refund.
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THE NEW KODAK PRINTERS!!!!

Getting famous on the train!
I got on my train home tonight from Cannon Street and sat in my usual seat (I sit in the same seat every morning too) and a woman who always sits opposite me called "excuse me".
Turns out she wanted to know who I knitted for, as I am always knitting something different every time she sees me! She even said she has discussed it with her friend about what and who they think I am knitting for!
The picture on the left is one of the gloves that I was knitting.
Once a very old lady got on the train and said at the top of her thin wiry voice "ooh, it's not very often you see someone knitting on the train these days!"....made a few people chuckle :-)

Photographing the Vets Match

As official photographers for the Charlton Athletic Former Players Association (The Vets), we spent this evening photographing their match against Welling United, which the Vets won 5-3.
Now that the football season proper is coming to an end, the Vets season is beginning, with the next match on 16 May.
